Open Content, Copyright & Plagiarism

1. Completing the Assessment Option(loosely based on THIS outline)
Check out the Time Rime timeline below, and read over it to remind yourself of the major chronological developments in the creation of copyright law. Break into groups and delve further into assigned subjects:
Take the plagiarism test from the indiana.edu website as a class. The test involves reading and testing. After we read the information they take the test to make sure they understand the elements of plagiarism. If completed successfully, a certificate is presented to the class. The test is a great tool to give students as a buy in to a plagiarism policy.
