How early is too early? 09/23/2011
Sharon shared with me a study about when/how early students start schooling as a follow up to our discussion on Wednesday night about Brain Rules and brain wiring. One thing the Brain Rules chapter 3 drove home to me is how important parents-as-educators is to children and (as we discussed) how important returning students self-motivation and discipline is to their own education. In other words, how much impact do we really have in the classroom and how much impact do various external circumstances have upon learning?
